Wally Kunz Announces His Retirement

Wally Kunz.After more than 20 years supporting clients and consultants with Accpac Plus and Adagio, Wally Kunz, AccSys Solutions' Customer Service Team Manager ,has officially retired. Wally's parting comments are as follows:

"I have made some wonderful friends over the phone and at software conferences and trade shows. If you need accounting software or business support, please contact Douglas Dickie at AccSys Solutions. AccSys is the world's largest Adagio Consultant Reseller and has comprehensive experience in crafting complete business information systems.

AccSys Solutions Recognized for the Ninth Year In A Row

For the ninth year in a row, AccSys Solutions has been recognized by Softrak Systems, developers of Adagio Accounting, as the world's largest Adagio Consultant Reseller.

The award was made by Andrew Bates, President of Softrak Systems, at the Adagio Opportunity Conference, held at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver June 2-4.

AccSys Hosts Adagio Boot Camps Throughout Western Canada

On five separate occasions earlier this month, AccSys Solutions was host to an Adagio Boot Camp. Adagio Boot Camps are lecture-style seminars for Adagio users, led by Andrew Bates, president of Softrak Systems. These Boot Camps were held in Winnipeg, Calgary, Burnaby, Kelowna and Surrey. Adagio users throughout Western Canada were given the opportunity to learn new tips and tricks, see new Adagio solutions, network with other Adagio users, and chat with Softrak president, Andrew Bates.

Further Adagio Boot Camps will be announced on AccSys Solutions' website, as they come available.

AccSys Launches Solutions Newsletter

AccSys has recently launched its brand new client-driven e-newsletter specifically for Adagio users, and it is aptly named "Solutions". Each electronic issue features solutions, technical tips, and helpful links for regular users of Adagio Accounting software, and is part of AccSys's consistent effort to bring value-add to its client relationships.

Wally Kunz has spearheaded sales and marketing for Adagio developer Softrak Systems for almost two decades, and his experience in the accounting software industry stretches even farther back.

Wally will be assuming the role of Customer Service Team Manager at AccSys, and we look foward to welcoming his keen insights and charming manner to our organization. This past May, Douglas Dickie attended the Spring Summit for the Information Technology Alliance, in Atlanta, Georgia. The ITA provides a forum for senior managers to exchange ideas and share business practices. This conference represents a meeting of the minds of IT Consultants from all over North America, to share ideas and identify trends in the field of IT consulting. Douglas enjoyed sessions on social networking, cloud computing, strategic partnering, setting and communicating customer expectations, and change management.

New Support Plans Unveiled

We are please to announce that our Adagio Help Desk Technical Support will now be available as either an Ad Hoc Plan (pay as you go), or as an Annual Contract. Our Annual Contract Support offers unlimited routine technical support along with a host of additional support services, all for a fixed annual fee.

"Many of our clients have indicated that they would prefer the certainty of an unlimited fixed fee Technical Support plan", says president Douglas Dickie. "Clients on our Annual Support Plan will never have to pay for the answer to an Adagio question or the resolution of routine issues again! They can just pick up the phone and give us a call."

Winnipeg Office opens November

In keeping with our strategy of bringing first rate Adagio sales and support to all of Western Canada, we are proud to announce the opening of our new Winnipeg office, at Suite 700 - 177 Lombard Avenue. Regina Office now open to serve all of Saskatchewan

October 1, 2009

AccSys Solutions is pleased to announce the opening of their new office in Regina.

"There are many businesses in Saskatchewan for which Adagio is a perfect size," says Doug Dickie, president of AccSys. Many of them have already discovered Adagio, but have not had the opportunity to receive support on a local basis. There are also still plenty of orphaned Accpac Plus users throughout Saskatchewan who need help converting to a viable alternative like Adagio."

AccSys's first order of business is to establish an Adagio User Group in Regina.

This will be held on Tuesday November 17th. "While we usually like to host these in the morning when everyone is fresh, this time we are holding a luncheon followed by an afternoon meeting. This will allow Adagio users and potential users to get to know do some networking, and will also allow users from outside of Regina to attend the event without spending the night before in a hotel," said Doug. Andrew Bates, the president of Softrak Systems, will be presenting, and he and Doug are both looking forward to Adagio having a more permanent local presence in the Prairies.

AccSys Solutions Expands

2008 has been a year of growth for AccSys Solutions. Demand for our services has continued to develop, and we have been racing to keep pace. To handle this expansion, we’ve taken several steps.

Firstly, we have quadrupled our consulting staff. One of these new staff members, Lars Glimhagen, is a Senior Consultant, a former Premier Adagio Reseller like myself, and a seasoned Adagio trainer. He brings many years of experience and knowledge.

Secondly, we have opened an office in Kelowna, to better serve our clients with offices in the Interior. Because Lars is from the Interior, this office will help us serve the clients he brings with him as well.

Thirdly, to better accommodate our growth in the lower mainland, we have moved into larger premises. Therefore, please take note of our new addresses and telephone numbers.

I am genuinely confident that these measures will have positive and immediate impact on the quality of our service delivery. I look forward to continuing to support your business, and welcome any comments or questions you may have regarding our recent changes.
