Who is Softrak?
Softrak Systems is the company that develops Adagio Accounting.
They were founded in 1984 as a integrator and developer of add-on products for ACCPAC Accounting. Over the years, changes in the marketplace created an opportunity for an accounting system that could fill the gap between the entry-level products and the more sophisticated enterprise accounting systems. In 1999, they released Adagio Accounting.
Today, Softrak supports more than 2000 clients in over 10 countries, and has an international channel of dealers and service providers, including AccSys Solutions. Adagio has over 25 modules available, supporting a vast number of industries and solution sets. Adagio Accounting ranks amongst the top 3 small business accounting products in the USA, as chosen by CPA Practice Advisor (published Feb 2014).
They are headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada. President Andrew Bates, is a regular speaker at accounting technology seminars and conferences in North America. Every year Softrak hosts its own annual accounting tech conference, the Adagio Opportunity Conference (AOC).
